Robert Baron was a 17th-century Scottish theologian known for being one of the 'Aberdeen doctors'. Baron is much better known for being an Anglican bishop and preacher rather than his written works; however, one of his known works was 'General Metaphysics' – a philosophical treatise consisting of the basics of metaphysics with the influences of French scholar Claudius Salmasius.
This 1657 Latin edition was edited by Antonius Clementius, published in Lyon.

I purchased it in 2009 and it has been on my book shelf ever since. There is no evidence of any wear except that the dust jacket has some slight waves or creases.
