LIVERMORE, hand drawing of name/calligraphy below drawing of American eagle, many flourishes as seen in engravings of the period, original drawing, undated/est. 1830s from style of the eagle, calligraphy, and flourishes. on one sheet 8" high x 12-1/2" across with vertical midfold, ink drawn by hand, limited scattered small spots of foxing; NOTES: William W. Livermore has not been able to be identified in online research, but possibly William W. Livermore, 1814-55, born in Worcester County, MA, died in New York City, item was purchased at in estate sale in the wider New York City area ///// CONDITION: generally well-preserved, varying darkness of part as originally drawn for contrast and dramatic effect, vertical midfold, light creases at corners, two small losses at edges, overall well-preserved with paper supple.
