An 8 x 10 " glass negative of the same image is held by the Library of Congess. Only partial image shown in scan since the item is too large for my scanner..

(Wright also mentions a (presumably later) 147 p. version printed in double columns). Rust-colored embossed cloth with gilt spine lettering. Moderate shelfwear, with frayed spine ends. The spine is slanted. There is a short tear on the rear hinge. Previous owner's name is penciled on the second free endpaper. Some leaves have small dampstains on their fore margins. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Collector's Edition Program from Larry Bird Night - Bird: A Basketball Legend 4to size staplebound booklet; 32 glossy pages with color and a few black and white photographs. Front cover is a color illustration of Larry Bird done by famed sports artist LeRoy Neiman (1921-2012.) The back cover is a full-page advertisement of Converse sneakers through the years. There is no table of contents, but the articles include "The Ten Greatest Games Larry Bird Played In" and "The Championship Years." There are some small creases on the front cover near the staple binding, a light crease on the back cover and light wear to the bottom front corner. . Stapled. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Private Press.

Fragile illustrated wrappers screenprinted over newsprint are rarely seen in this condition. Paul Blackburn was a poet, involved with Beat poets, as well as a translator of Latin American literature by Octavio Paz, Federico Garcia Loca, Julio Cortezar and Pablo Picasso. Blackburn was a strong and active supporter of poetry and poets, especially fledgling poets. His influence on the poetry world and Spanish/Latin American literature (from the 1950's to his death in 1971) is immeasurable. 8 x 6½". 24 pp. Very minor chipping to top and bottom tips of cover, some offset toning to end pages, else a Near Fine copy.

With a couple of ink annotations in a contemporary hand relating to earlier land transactions of Chaissain(?) and G. & R. Morris. Map supported with posterboard and protected with plastic sleeve. 1855 Single Sheet. 18 1/2 x 24 inches. Being territory about 25 miles northeast of Watertown, N.Y. and 65 miles north of Utica, lying in the townships of Antwerp, Philadelphia, leRay, Wilna and Diana, an area which includes present-day Fort Drum and remains one of the most sparsely populated in the state. The land has been divided here into approximately 900 numbered lots of 440 acres each. The routes of the Odgensburg and the St. Lawrence turnpikes are given, as is the "Military Road" from Sacketts Harbor to Ogdensburg passing through Alexandria to the west. Repaired horizontal and vertical closed tears on blank verso; several small holes have slight effect on several letters. Light toning. Good+ copy of a rare, dramatic broadside. "As we soon expect to have official documents in relation to the SIX MILITIA MEN, arrested, tried, and put to death, under the orders of General Andrew Jackson, this may not be an improper time to give to the public some of the particulars of the execution..." The source of those "particulars" is the account in John Binns's 'Democratic Press.' The primary weapon of the anti-Jackson forces was his alleged impetuous, unrestrained, martial personality, utterly unsuitable for the presidency of a democratic republic whose success required respect for constitutional checks and balances.
