The dust wrapper has some marks to both panels, with handling marks also present. There is slight lifting in the outer layer at the spine tips, with both edges also lightly worn. It has been price clipped. There is a small ink stamp to the front paste down, from the original book vendor. The internals are clean and free from previous owner's ink, aside from the aforementioned stamp. The text blocks are immaculate and free from foxing. Overall, this is a very good copy. Originally published by Putnam in New York, this work by Puzo became a mainstream classic which would inspire a 1972 blockbuster, starring Brando, Pacino and Caan.
