While a complete study of this screenplay would likely yield numerous differences from the final film, a cursory looked notes an unfilmed opening scene of Ripley posing as a handwriting expert to fleece a rich woman and the initial meeting with Dickie Greenleaf's father (which sets the plot in motion) taking place in a seedy bar like the book, instead of a glamorous New York City penthouse garden of the film. Uncommon. *OCLC* locates two copies of this second edition and none of the first.
