The dust jacket is titled Charlie Chan's Caravan, and the book is titled Charlie Chan's Omnibus. A bright and attractive copy but when we made the purchase we did not recognize the differences. The "Omnibus" features two unabridged stories: "The House Without A Key" and "Behind That Curtain." The "Caravan" features two unabridged stories: "The Chinese Parrot" and "The Black Camel." For the Chan collector who will be proud to give it a good home!

First thus edition ( ca 1940 ) of the first novel in the Charlie Chan series. Instead of a list of books published by Madison Square Books on the rear cover it has a War Bonds and Stamps ad. Someone has tape repaired a large section of the front panel of the dustjacket. There is a inch deep by inch wide V chunk missing from the base of the spine. Light tanning to the pages. In near fine / poor condition.
